Thursday FTS - Dinosaurs'r'us

Sid "The Kid" likes this.
So another week of fantastic NHL action is almost over. It was a fun week that saw the NHL General Managers have one of three regularly scheduled meeting to discuss NHL issues. From this meeting came a new idea for the NHL All-Star game, updates on players social networking responsibilities and everyone seems happy with how the head shot rule is being enforced around the NHL.

More after the jump! Links and today's videos!

Here's Don Maloney's thoughts on the Twitter/Facebooking policy that may or may not come in to place. There sure are a lot of dinosaurs in there - I'm looking at you Mr Bettmen.

Following more discussion regarding the referee situation in the AIHL, Brian Burke had this to say about whether or not the league should put a "review" process in place for judgement calls throughout a game. He would lose his mind if he was ever came to Australia and watched a game.

Today's FTS links and some more video after after the jump. Follow me and Ilya Kovalchuk's embarrassing shootout attempt. Even I'm starting to feel sorry for this guy. If he was using a wooden stick, the sap would be seeping out of it he's squeezing it so hard.

Poor Ilya! This is from today's game:

Holy Crap! If there is any reason to start buying shares in 3D technology, watch the below video. Sidney Crosby was on the ice testing some new sticks and thought he'd be funny. I guess this may be as close as some people ever get to being an NHL goalie.
