I'm hungover a little so I can't really do much thinking today... good think there are other writers in the world that actually get paid to lodge things on the internet.. :P

Import rules in the AIHL... What is the point?

Okay people... before losing your minds over the title and firing complaint emails to me. Here me out.

I have a big problem with the import restrictions rule in the AIHL. Firstly, ice hockey is likely never going to become a somewhat legitimate sport in Australia if we keep throwing out D grade hockey. I'm not taking anything away from the current teams and individual players, I know everyone has worked hard to make the "A" (especially local players). Here's where my problem with it starts....

Congrats to the NSW Browns Team

Congrats to the NSW Browns team for winning the Silver medal at this years brown tournament. Apparently the VIC squad was very tough to beat and went through the tourney undefeated. Apparently some NSW players had standout games in the finals, Brenden Stobbs, David Wardle, Brian Funes. Anyone have any thoughts on the game/tournament?

What's with the Sydney Bears?

Okay okay, so I mite be a little bias towards the bears. I've been a long time supporter and I like to see them succeed. I would say about 4 weeks into the season I had them pegged in to make the finals.. and really dominate all the way there. Now, are they even going to make the finals??

Holy shit what a heartbreak. Anyone know what the problem is?
